Professional Background and Expertise
Sarah has past nursing experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and adolescent psych. Previous to earning her PMHNP-BC, she was the Nursing Director for an adolescent and young adult psychiatric residential facility. She also holds a law degree and spent twelve years working as a public interest attorney on matters affecting women and children, as well as assisting in the creation of medical-legal partnerships between law schools and nonprofit organizations. In addition to her role as provider, she is also clinical adjunct faculty in the School of Nursing at George Mason University.
Sarah currently lives in Arlington with her two young children, a wild goldendoodle, and beloved pug. She enjoys interior design, craft projects, Taylor Swift, and a good Sunday brunch.

Sarah is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with a Master’s in Nursing (MSN) from Georgetown University and PMHNP certificate from George Mason University. She is passionate about providing compassionate, quality, evidence-based care and medication management to children, adolescents, young adults, and new mothers. Sarah’s focus is on the treatment of ADHD, depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, and mental health concerns affecting postpartum and women in their child-bearing years through menopause. As a PMHNP-BC, Sarah approaches her patient’s treatment holistically and provides an individualized treatment plan that values patient-centered care, interprofessional collaboration, and mind-body connection.
