She has experience in many areas of nursing and found her passion in mental health during this time. This is where she first learned how to help people in crisis and understand person-centered stabilization and support.  The longer she practiced, the more she wanted to do for her patients. She returned to school, where she earned her master’s and became a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Shenandoah University. She is currently working on her certification in trauma-informed care. She has a heart for learning and growing in her continued practice of medicine.
