Peyton Miller, MSW, earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Appalachian State University in May 2022 and a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in May 2025, with a concentration in Clinical Practice. Their early experience includes assisting the Watauga Children’s Council with fundraising and addressing community needs in 2020, as well as supporting the social work and guidance counseling departments at Watauga High School and serving as a peer leader at Mountain Alliance in 2022. During their graduate training, Peyton completed multiple clinical internships between 2024 and 2025, including work in intensive inhome counseling with children and adolescents, mental health skill-building, and assertive community treatment. Since August 2025, Peyton has worked as a Therapist and LCSW Supervisee, and since October 2025, as a Care Navigation Agent, coordinating mental health services.
