Professional Background and Expertise

As she trained in Family Medicine, I noticed a large gap in care for patients seeking mental health support. Their concerns were often not addressed, and the patients didn’t feel “heard” or validated. She often stayed behind to speak to the patients who mentioned they were struggling with mental health concerns and searched for appropriate referrals for treatment.

Her goal in becoming a nurse practitioner was to assist patients who needed help accessing care and ensuring they felt seen, heard, and supported. Sabrina personally knows the feeling of having concerns brushed off or leaving a visit feeling worse than she did before arriving. Sabrina also personally knows how it feels to have subpar health insurance and not afford treatment. Sabrina works hard to find options that are affordable and accessible to everyone.  Also, Sabrina is passionate about working with her patients and meeting them where they are, when appropriate and safe to do so, so they feel comfortable and confident and not as fearful through their journey.

Through her experience, Sabrina specializes in ADD/ADHD; Anxiety; Depression; Coping Skills; Sleep or Insomnia; Stress; Behavioral Issues; Bipolar Disorder; Borderline Personality (BPD) as well as many other diagnoses. She utilizes mindfulness-based and shared decision-making techniques to support her patients.
