Melissa’s professional background includes two years with an AmeriCorps program, during which she moved across the country to San Antonio, Texas, to teach middle school math. Following her time in education, she moved to the DC area and spent the past two years at Dominion Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia, serving as an educational liaison for the adolescent inpatient unit and as a clinical social work intern. She has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and across all stages of life, with a particular focus on children and adolescents. She looks forward to providing compassionate, clinical care to individuals of all ages.
