Melissa’s professional background includes two years with AmeriCorps in San Antonio, Texas, during which she taught middle school math. She has worked extensively in the nonprofit sector, and most recently, has spent the past two years at Dominion Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia, where she served as an educational liaison in the adolescent inpatient unit, as well as a clinical social work intern. She enjoys working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and across all stages of life. She looks forward to providing compassionate clinical care.
