Tracey Picou, MSW, earned a bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from West Virginia University in 2021 and later completed a Master of Social Work from Howard University in 2023. She has experience working with a wide range of clinical concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger dysregulation, and self-esteem challenges. She also supports individuals with more complex presentations such as oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), personality disorders including borderline personality disorder, and clients experiencing suicidal ideation or engaging in non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors, with a strong focus on risk assessment, safety planning, and stabilization. She particularly enjoys working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate emotional regulation, identity development, and life transitions, while also helping individuals build confidence, self-acceptance, and healthier self-image.
