Education & Experience

Haley is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Master's Degree in Nursing, earning the highest academic distinction of summa cum laude. Prior to her educational experience at the University of Virginia, Haley obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Walden University and an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Northern Virginia Community College. While completing her education, Haley concurrently served as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse at Dominion Hospital, where she gained invaluable hands-on experience in delivering comprehensive care to individuals with mental health needs. Her experience extends across various age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults.

Haley has a proven track record of leadership and management in healthcare settings. As a Nurse Residency Program graduate, she completed a specialty training apprenticeship and presented an evidence-based project to senior leadership. She is also a Certified Nurse Preceptor and has provided new nurses with the tools and resources needed to deliver excellent patient care. As the Chairperson of the Unit Based Council at Dominion Hospital, Haley oversaw the development, review, and revision of policies, procedures, and standards of care, and promoted evidence-based professional nursing practice and research for best practice and care outcomes.
