Bloom Health Centers is excited to welcome James DeMarco, psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, who will support the care of many patients who are experiencing mental health crisis in the inpatient hospital setting. James received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, Master's Degree in Physiology & Biophysics from Georgetown University, Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Healthcare Leadership and Health Policy from Yale University, and his Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Graduate Certificate from George Mason University.  

James has precepted with the Bloom Health Centers team for several months and has had several years or experience working within the hospital setting.                

James has a focus on serving the inpatient population who are experiencing mental health disorders with the focus on thought and mood disorders.  

Outside of his clinical work, James enjoys traveling and baking to unwind and relax.
