Elliot S. Merin, M.D., is a psychiatrist and the Director of Acute Services at Bloom Health Centers. He primarily works with adolescents and adults in inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Merin has a clinical focus on depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, bipolar disorders, and psychotic disorders. Additionally, Dr. Merin is interested in TMS for treatment-resistant depression and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
Dr. Merin has a life long interest in the human mind paired with a desire to help people recover and flourish.
Education & Experience
Dr. Merin is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he received his B.S. in Psychology. He attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where he completed both his medical training and his residency in psychiatry.
