Stephanie Brady, MSW, LMSW

Stephanie Brady, LMSW, supports patients through their journey of healing and self discovery through the realm of therapy. Stephanie uses many tools and techniques, including DBT and CBT, to guide her clients. Stephanie works with adult and geriatric clients. Ms. Brady received her Bachelor of Social Work in May 2019 from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Following that, she completed her Master of Social Work in May 2020 from Fordham University in Bronx, NY. Her experiences and training comes from working as a Medical Case Manager at Ryan White Program UVA School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA from 2020 to 2021, then she practiced as a clinical social worker at the UVA Health System in Charlottesville, VA from October 2021 to present. Now she has joined Bloom and we are thrilled to welcome her aboard.

Professional Background and Expertise

In her journey as a therapist, she has completed rigorous training and education in social work and supervision, including coursework and supervised practice in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). While her direct clinical experience may be limited, she approaches each client interaction with humility, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and grow alongside them.

Recognizing the importance of ongoing professional development, she actively seeks supervision, consultation, and additional training opportunities to deepen her understanding and sharpen her clinical skills. She is dedicated to staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field, ensuring that she provides the most effective and ethically sound interventions for her clients.

The office is located in suite 130, and there is plenty of parking is available in the parking lot of the building.
