Priya Gill, LGPC
Priya Gill, LGPC serving as a therapist here at Bloom Health Centers. We welcome Priya, as she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience here to better serve our communities.
Priya started her university experience at Montgomery College in Rockville. Then, she transferred to University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) after two years, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in May 2014. Driven by a passion for mental health and well-being, Priya pursued advanced studies at Hood College in Frederick, MD, achieving a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which she completed in January 2024.
Priya’s professional experience began with a significant role as a Senior Employment Specialist at Mosaic Community Services in Baltimore, MD, from April 2015 to January 2020. In this position, Priya dedicated herself to supporting clients with mental health challenges in finding meaningful employment opportunities. Her responsibilities included creating individualized rehabilitation treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices, assisting clients with symptom management, and developing job-seeking skills. Priya also established strong relationships with employers to align job opportunities with clients' interests and skill sets.

Following this, Priya joined Heuristic Therapeutic Services in Germantown, MD, as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Coordinator from July 2022 to September 2023. My duties included conducting regular visits for adults and minors with mental health diagnoses, assisting clients in obtaining entitlements such as SSI, Medicaid, food stamps, and housing, and helping clients manage activities of daily living (ADLs).
Most recently, Priya served as a Therapist Intern at Washington Psychological Wellness in Gaithersburg, MD, from January 2023 to December 2023. Under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, Priya provided individual therapy sessions, conducted intake assessments, administered diagnostic tools, and formulated comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs. She also facilitated women's group therapy sessions and engaged in ongoing professional development activities, enhancing my clinical skills through supervision sessions and case consultations.
In addition to English, Priya can professionally speak Punjabi to serve more patients in the community.
In her free time, Priya enjoys hiking, running, and traveling.
