Bloom Health Centers welcomes Matthew Widmeyer, PA-C, to the team! Matthew Widmeyer previously worked with Bloom Health Centers for an extensive time and has recently come back to the team to continue the expansion of access to care in the Arlington, VA area. Matthew earned his CAQ (Certificate of Added Qualification) in Psychiatry in 2024 Matthew attended college at the University of Virginia, graduating with his bachelor’s degree in 2018. He went to Nova Southeastern University Ft Lauderdale for PA school, graduating in 2020. 

Matthew has experience treating a broad spectrum of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. 

Matthew shares, “I do my best to make my patients feel heard and understood and prioritize individualized treatment plans that are evidence based and follow the latest guidelines.” Matthew anchors his care in creating strong relationships with his patients and ensuring a strong continuum of care. Outside of his clinical time, Matthew enjoys exercising, reading, and playing instruments.
