Sirish Mulpur
Bloom Health Centers is excited to welcome Dr. Sirish Mulpur to the Richmond, VA office. Dr. Mulpur is a senior health care executive with over 20 years of leadership experience across health care delivery, academia, research, IRB, population health, and the federal government, with expertise in clinical and health care management and end-to-end project leadership. Three years ago, he transitioned to the Veterans Health Administration and currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff.
Professional Background and Expertise
Dr. Mulpur is a board-certified psychiatrist with experience in both outpatient and inpatient care. He specializes in psychopharmacology and medication management and is also trained in therapy, using a balanced, individualized approach that treats the whole person—not just the diagnosis. His practice is guided by the principles of the Hippocratic Oath, emphasizing effective care with minimal side effects and a holistic, integrative treatment philosophy.

Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors, traveling, hiking, and camping, and often turns to running to unwind and stay focused. He also enjoys tennis and racquetball, reading, lounge music, spending time with friends and family, including his wife, two sons, and black cat, and savoring great food, especially when he doesn’t have to cook.
