Care Teams
Your Own Care Team
One of the greatest barriers to receiving psychiatric care is an individual’s ability to make a timely, initial appointment with a psychiatrist or other mental health professional. With extensive wait times due to the lack of providers, the initial motivation to seek care can wane. At Bloom, patients can see a provider in days who can begin the diagnostic process immediately and ensure that when you take that critical first step for help you never feel alone in the process.
About Care Teams
In the course of your mental health journey, you may need care from different professionals along the way. Having a Care Team ensures you have access to the right provider who knows where you are in your journey and your treatment needs.
In the Bloom Care Team model, psychiatrists serve as clinical leads, overseeing a team of professionals with specializations in mental health treatment. Teams can include nurse practitioners, physician assistants, doctors of psychology, licensed therapists, and social workers.
Your Bloom Care Team works together to ensure nothing is overlooked—always maintaining the comprehensive, supportive care you deserve.
How Care Teams Work
Bloom Care Teams are led by providers on the medical side of mental health care and include psychologists and therapists from the behavioral side of care. Bloom’s Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatric Physician Assistants perform routine check-ins and reviews with Psychiatrists overseeing the entire treatment process.
Your Care Team will be designed around your specific needs, and the providers you see may shift as you progress in your journey. Everyone is here to support your growth and healing.
