Lauren Wilson, MD

Lauren Wilson is a (board-eligible) Psychiatrist with Bloom Health Centers. Lauren Wilson received her Doctorate of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in 2016. In 2021 Lauren completed her residency in General Psychiatry at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA. Finally, in 2023, Dr. Wilson completed her fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Virginia Tech-Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA. Dr. Wilson is a proud member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Psychiatric Association, and the Psychiatric Society of Virginia.


Professional Background and Expertise

Dr. Wilson works with patients throughout their lifespan.  Dr. Wilson sees a wide variety of specialties and diagnoses that her patients are navigating through including trauma-related disorders, mood disorder, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, psychotic spectrum illnesses, and stress associated with normal development throughout the lifespan.

In addition to English, Dr. Wilson can speak some French after spending about a year living in the French Caribbean.

Outside of work, Dr. Wilson enjoys water sports and being by the water!  She also enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family and pets.

The Arlington, VA location of Bloom Health Centers is on N. Quincy Street, accessible from N. Glebe Road off Route 66, or from Wilson Blvd. Located on the 6th floor, car parking is available on the street or in the many parking garages located on N. Quincy Street. Our Arlington office is also a convenient destination for those coming from Falls Church, Pentagon City, D.C., or Old Town Alexandria.
