Dr. Thomas is passionate about working with children and adolescents and transitional-age youth struggles with a focus on attention, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the LGBTQIA+ population. He has a special interest in working with patients of diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds to help promote and normalize mental health and mental health treatment.
Dr. Thomas offers a blend of medication management and therapy in each session.
Education & Experience
Dr. Thomas completed his residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He also completed his Child and Adolescent Fellowship at SUNY Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He was named Chief Fellow of his fellowship class taking a more hands-on role in the administrative aspect of running an outpatient child mental health clinic.
