Akira Jackson, therapist, within Bloom Health Centers is here to help others navigate lifes challenges. Akira received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from North Carolina Central University. She continued her education and skill set by obtaining her master’s degree in social work from Capella University.

Akira has experience in various therapeutic modalities such as, CBT, DBT, ACT, Strength- Focused, Trauma- Informed, Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing Techniques. Akira strives to create a safe and nurturing environment for her clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Akira has worked with individuals from different walks of life; however, her areas of focus are Anxiety, Depression, ODD, ADHD, OCD, and PTSD. Akira primarily serves children, adolescents, and adults up to the age of 64 years old.
