Dr. Hassan provides comprehensive and holistic assessment to treat mental health disorders in children, adolescent and adults. She takes a collaborative approach with kids, parents, therapists, schools, and pediatricians to create a better treatment plan. She believes in treating the root cause and not just the symptoms.
Dr. Hassan believes that it is important to consider patient's personal beliefs, cultural diversity, and spiritual values when providing care. Her background experience in OBGYN allows her to better understand psychiatric disorders in women's reproductive life and to make appropriate treatment plans.
Education & Experience
Dr. Hassan completed her residency in Psychiatry from New Bridge Medical Center, in New Jersey. She did her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Virginia.
