Ms. Savoy diversified, and unique background has enriched her professional role, clinical skills as well as her own perspective. Her professional focus is working mainly with children and adolescents. She recognizes that each client is unique and understands that childhood illness in any domain impacts the family as a whole. Ms. Savoy believes in using a holistic, biopsychosocial, and collaborative approach to meet the behavioral health needs of her clients.

Ms. Savoy has over ten years of experience as a psychiatric registered nurse working with children, adolescents, and young adults in the outpatient, residential, and inpatient settings. She has held a variety of leadership roles, which have afforded her the opportunity to be responsible for project development, coordinating behavioral health services, and ensuring quality case management. Her nursing career began at Dominion Hospital. She then became a resident coordinator at the Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents, where she was responsible for overseeing the residential facility and working with families to reintegrate residents back into the community. Also, Ms. Savoy worked at Children’s National Medical Center on the inpatient Child and Adolescent units, where she was a participate in program development, held a seat on the hospital’s Safety Council, and was part of the initiative to provide Crisis Prevention and Trauma-Informed Care training for the staff and other units.

Ms. Savoy motto: "If I can help a Child or Adolescent now, then their lives will become much more fulfilling later..." She is proud to be part of the multi-disciplinary team at Bloom Health Centers. It is her belief that it takes a team that can provide the collaborative care to address the complex needs of behavioral health clients.

Education & Experience

Christina Savoy is a Full Practice Authority PMHNP-BC who specializes in Children and Adolescents. She was mentored by Dr Gary Spivack and is experienced in providing care for patients in the outpatient settings and the hospital. Also, she holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Administration from George Mason University and has worked in various leadership roles in the DMV area.

Ms. Savoy is credentialed at Dominion Hospital.
