After working as a chemist for 8 years, Billy wanted more out of his life. He decided that with his love of science and enjoyment of helping people that he would be best suited to work in the medical field.
Billy decided to go back to PA school and in 2016 graduated from Towson University’s PA program. He then went on to work at a local emergency department for 5 years. After his experience in emergency medicine, he realized how much mental health impacts patients and their families. Billy felt that he could maximize his potential in psychiatry given the setting and relationship-building of the field. His goal is to help all patients maximize their life’s potential.
Billy has professional expertise in anxiety, relationship issues, depression, and ADHD.
Education & Experience
Bill Farmer graduated from Towson University in 2007 with a Degree in Chemistry and Molecular Biology. In 2016, he earned a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Towson University.
