About
Amy works with individuals above the age of 16 and uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to help her patients walk through life's challenges.
Amy started her journey as a psychotherapist after obtaining her MSW from West Virginia University in 2007. She began providing therapy to adolescents and adults in a behavioral clinic setting, helping clients navigate issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment issues, trauma, relationship, and behavioral challenges.
Prior to joining Bloom Health Centers, she was a clinical therapist in a community corrections setting, where she screened clients for trauma, mental health, and substance use disorders and provided individual and group therapy to address these challenges. She also has experience providing individual and group therapy to adults in a partial-hospitalization program.
