Dr. Arvind Shah, commenced his academic path with Intermediate Science at Khalsa College, Mumbai, India (1967-1969). He earned an MD degree from Grant Medical College, Mumbai, India (1970-1976). Dr. Arvind Shah further honed his expertise through Psychiatry residencies at renowned UK institutions—Blackburn Royal Infirmary, Old Manor Hospital, Exe Vale Hospital, and Whittingham Hospital (1977-1983), culminating in M.R.C.Psych (London) in 1983. His residencies and board certification are endorsed by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, showcasing his remarkable contributions to the field.

Dr. Shah, completed a two-year Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of South Florida, Tampa (1983-1985). He then established a private practice, Child and Adult Psychiatric Services, P.C., in Waterbury, CT, serving from 1987 to 2020.
