About
Ms. Milton started her nursing career at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the operating room and has worked in psychiatry, pediatrics, school-based nursing, and as a nurse manager of a surgical center. She has experience in treating a range of conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, psychotic disorders, and schizophrenia. Ms. Milton’s goals are to help decrease the stigma associated with mental health and to be an advocate for those who are unable to advocate for themselves.
Education & Experience
Andrea Milton holds two master’s degrees and is board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and as a family nurse practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Her first master's degree was obtained from Chamberlain University, Illinois, and the second from Drexel University in Pennsylvania.
