Dr. Fehrmann's particular areas of interest include child and adolescent psychiatry, in particular childhood trauma-related disorders, ADHD, and women’s mental health.

She finds joy and fulfillment in making psychiatry accessible and approachable to the younger generation in the hopes of decreasing stigma and increasing the utilization of mental health services.

Education & Experience

Dr. Fehrmann earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Belmont University. She received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine.

Dr. Fehrmann completed both Adult Psychiatry training and a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Maryland/ Sheppard Pratt, where she was also a Chief Fellow.
