Dr. Neel Nene

Chief Executive Officer & Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Neel Nene is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer of Bloom Health Centers. As a visionary leader, Dr. Nene has experienced continuous success in building thriving mental healthcare operations. He has been known throughout his career for driving innovative solutions, organizational excellence, and strategic partnerships to grow scalable medical practices. He is passionate about fostering a company culture that thrives on trust, compassion, courage to care, and transparency. He believes that creating an organizational environment focused on his team’s well-being drives positive experiences for patients.

Dr. Nene completed his medical training at Maimonides Medical Center in New York, NY, and extensive addiction training at Bellevue Hospital in New York, NY. He completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship program at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at Penn State University in Hershey, PA, where he served as Chief Fellow.

Dr. Nene also completed the Healthcare MBA program at George Washington University with a focus on Marketing and Hospital Management. His clinical expertise includes inpatient psychiatry, neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as neuromodulation. He completed an ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) Fellowship at Columbia University as well as TMS training at the Maastricht Brain Imaging Center in the Netherlands.

Serving as both the CEO and CMO of Bloom Health Centers allows Dr. Nene to lead organizational change through a unique lens. He is able to identify new service lines to benefit patients, evaluate them both clinically and operationally, and provide practice infrastructure and clinical management to operationalize them. His extensive medical and executive leadership experience has gained him career-spanning respect and admiration from his patients, colleagues, and the medical community.  

Even with being a nationally recognized leader in the mental health care industry, Dr. Nene prides himself the most on being a husband, a dad, and a son. He enjoys coaching soccer and playing with his children during his off time.
